Is there a book in you, an article, a story or poem that you've wanted to write forever but haven't known how to begin? Have you been working on a manuscript for a while but feel stuck? Do you want to expand your writing skills and explore your possibilities as a writer? Do you have a finished manuscript but need advice on rewriting and the chances of finding an agent and publisher? Sandy Boucher has worked as teacher, editor, and writing consultant for twenty-five years, both face-to-face and long distance by mail, phone and e-mail. She can break down that overwhelming process into do-able steps, give you a way to begin, encourage and guide you as you do the writing you've always wanted to do. Sandy's retreat, "Dharma and Writing", is an excellent place to develop your writing in a group setting and in a quiet, meditative environment. Read more. She also teaches writing workshops that do not have a meditation component. Recent workshops include an eight-week autobiography/memoir class for women. Contact her if you are interested in organizing such a class in your city. Writing consultation with Sandy can take several forms. Some people consult Sandy on a one-time basis, some people work with her over weeks, months, even years. Whatever helps you with your writing is what she offers. Sandy wrote an article for Writer's Digest on eliminating fears in the writing process. Read "Are You Holding You Back?" by downloading the Portable Document Format (PDF) file (47 kb). For help, go to end of page. |
